Pay Rate: £13.50 – £14.50 per hour
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and flexible Support Worker Team Leader to join our team in Huncote. You will lead and support a team of support workers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to individuals with mental health needs and challenging behaviour. This role requires flexibility to work day shifts and sleep-in shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and support a team of support workers, providing guidance, training, and supervision.
• Deliver and oversee person-centred care for individuals with mental health needs and challenging behaviour.
• Administer and oversee medication in line with care plans and company policies.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and best practices.
• Undertake day shifts and sleep-in shifts as required.
What We Are Looking For:
• Minimum of 12 months experience as a Team Leader in a support or care setting.
• Experience supporting individuals with mental health needs and challenging behaviour.
• Confident in administering medication.
• Must hold a full driving licence and be able to drive.
• Flexible, reliable, and able to work both day shifts and sleep-ins.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
