Summary

Room Leader Level 3 – 40 Hours – £14.50 per hour



You will take the lead in a well-resourced nursery room designed to support children at every stage of early development. With thoughtfully arranged learning spaces and clear daily structure, you’ll shape the environment, guide your team, and ensure high-quality EYFS delivery. The setting is organised, purposeful, and focused on preparing children confidently for school.



Before You Apply



  • This role requires previous experience as a Room Leader or Team Leader within a nursery setting.

  • A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification is essential.

  • Applicants without leadership experience in an Early Years environment should not apply.



Key Job Details



  • £14.50 per hour

  • 40 hours per week

  • All year round contract

  • Shifts between 7:30am and 6:00pm

  • Private day nursery setting

What You’ll Need



  • Full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years

  • Experience as a Room Leader or Team Leader in a nursery

  • Strong working knowledge of the EYFS framework

  • Confidence managing staff and delegating tasks



What You’ll Do



  • Lead the daily running of your allocated nursery room

  • Plan and implement EYFS-based activities tailored to children’s stages of development

  • Supervise and support practitioners within the room

  • Monitor observations, assessments, and learning journeys

  • Maintain safeguarding, health and safety, and ratio compliance

  • Work with parents to provide regular feedback on progress and development
