PERSONAL ASSISTANT
As a Personal Assistant to my 10 year old autistic, non-verbal son, your job will be to provide predominately social assistance to him.
Your role is to enable him to be independent and participate in meeting other children outside of his home environment, achieve his potential, build friendships and take part in activities to increase his social interaction opportunities.
He needs support to stay safe and requires help with some personal care. He is fun-loving and mischievous, he can also be stubborn so you will have to be firm but fun!
If you’re someone who is attentive and engaging and likes making a positive difference, you could be a great fit.
This role is based in the Twechar so it’s important you can travel to and from the area reliably.
This is a part-time role of 5-6 hours a week, with flexibility around how those hours are arranged, ideally some afternoon and alternate Saturdays 10am-4pm.
Rate of Pay - £17.00
PVG Scheme membership required by successful applicant
