Machine Shop Supervisor
Wedmore, Somerset
£37,400 - £41,500 + 33 days al + 5 days full sick pay. + Bonus + Private health


Brilliant opportunity here to join a growing company based in Somerset, leading their Machine Shop!

You will be either already in a supervisory position, or a Senior CNC person now looking to step up and manage a small team, you will be responsible for the machine shop meeting production schedules, this will also include Hands on assembly work so would suit someone who wishes to comibine management whilst still remaining "on the tools".

The Role:

  • Overseeing a small team of Machinists.
  • Ensuring all components are available to meet production requirements.
  • Effectively manage your team to achieve production schedules.
  • Read and interpret CAD drawings.
  • Operate CNC machines.
  • Routinely perform maintenance on machines and repair minor damage.

The Candidate:

  • Expererience as a Machinist.
  • Comfortable working with machine tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings.
  • Experienced in using and programming manual and automated tools and machines.
