Hybrid working is available for this role, offering flexibility between remote and office-based locations.

We are looking for a Senior Pension Operations Officer to work for the Isle of Wight Council Pension Fund. We have a small but highly enthusiastic and supportive team, committed to excellent service standards and continuous improvement.

You will play an important role in upholding the integrity of the scheme and ensuring a responsive, customer focused approach for all LGPS stakeholders.

You will:

have sound knowledge of the admin systems supporting the Local Government Pension Scheme
have an ability to understand regulations applying to the Local Government Pension Scheme and related matters
First class IT skills and the importance of IT systems in supporting the overall efficiency of the pension service provided
have the ability to manage and prioritise your own workload
An ability to both manage projects and manage your own time, with a very high degree of attention to detail
