Cover Supervisors to work across a range of secondary schools in Sheffield starting this September.
About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff
- Deliver pre-set lesson plans and ensure students remain on task
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and engagement
This is a fantastic opportunity for:
- Graduates considering a career in teaching
- Experienced cover supervisors or teaching assistants
- Individuals with experience working with young people in groups in any capacity
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Confidence to lead a class independently
- A flexible and proactive approach to work
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
