Crynodeb
The ED at Medway has a strong reputation for education and simulation, for all staff. Our focus on high quality development has been reflected in our recent CQC report and HE Deanery Quality Visit. We are progressive with diversification of workforce, compassionate leadership and flexible working conditions to aid recruitment and retention. The ED shares learning from adverse incidents and celebrates excellence with GREATIX. We are a major acute centre and designated Trauma Unit, with additional services on site. There is a large Critical Care department, a Tertiary Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and the regional Urological Cancer Centre. The consultant will supervise and train the junior and middle grade doctors in emergency medicine, Physician Associates (PA), Advanced Clinical Practitioners (ACP) and the Emergency Nurse Practitioners (ENP).
