Summary
The Admiral Nurse will support, deliver and coordinate relationship-centred dementia care across NPC. You will be based within a multi-disciplinary, primary care network, working alongside nurses, therapists, GPs, social care and third sector providers, amongst others. You will also benefit from being a part of a Clinical Network of Admiral Nurses working across England and Wales and will have the opportunity to access relevant post-graduate training and develop professionally, in line with the Admiral Nurse Competency Framework. Dementia UK will support you to maintain and strengthen your clinical and leadership expertise as a specialist Admiral Nurse through regular clinical supervision and practice and professional development opportunities. You will be accountable to NPC Head of Nursing and the Lead Admiral Nurse within Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
