What skills and experience we're looking for
You will be responsible for general site maintenance, gardening, security, swimming pool maintenance, portering and supervision of cleaning at Manor Mead School Shepperton. In addition, you will manage general maintenance issues, security, health and safety across the school sites, liaising with the individual site caretaker at Manor Mead Virginia Water and contractors as appropriate. The school promotes professional development of its staff and training will be provided to learn and enhance skills.
The ideal candidate will:
• be reliable and flexible with a sense of humour
• have an understanding of working in a school environment
• be competent in DIY with a good standard of maintenance and health and safety experience
• be able to effectively communicate with colleagues and efficiently manage workloads
• be committed to receiving further training
