What skills and experience we're looking for

The children, staff and Governors of Woodland Community Primary School are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, creative and inspirational EYFS Lead to join our caring and aspirational team.

The successful candidate will:

• Plan, deliver and evaluate teaching and learning activities.
• Observe and report on pupil performance and development.
• Support literacy and numeracy development.
• Use information and communication technology to support pupils learning.
• Work with children and young people with additional requirements to meet their personal support needs.
• Promote children’s well-being and resilience.
• Contribute to improving attendance.
• Lead an extra-curricular activity.
• Be enthusiastic, creative, innovative and prepared to ‘roll their sleeves up and have a go’.
• Have high expectations of pupils behaviour, behaviours for learning and achievement.
• Be an excellent communicator who is committed to being proactive in working in positive partnership with all stakeholders.
