About the Role
We are currently recruiting experienced Children’s Support Workers for flexible, ad hoc shifts in Aylesbury and surrounding areas. This role offers the chance to work across a variety of children’s residential homes, supporting young people with emotional, behavioural, and complex needs.
Perfect for those looking for flexible agency work, with the possibility of securing a permanent position for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Support children and young people with daily routines and activities
Help manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour
Promote emotional wellbeing, independence, and positive relationships
Maintain clear and accurate records in line with care plans
Work collaboratively with a dedicated team of professionals
Requirements
6–12 months minimum experience in a support or care role (preferably with children or young people)
Confident working with emotional and behavioural challenges
Reliable, compassionate, and professional
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
Flexible availability for a range of shifts (days, evenings, weekends)
Right to work in the UK – sponsorship is not available
