The Team Administrator will be responsible for receiving, processing, scanning and forwarding of referrals: agreeing, amending and issuing appointments;

The post holder will provide an administrative function to the Multi-Disciplinary Team, minuting meetings, filing and other general administrative duties.


In order to meet the needs of the Trust services, you may be required from time to time to work outside of your normal area of work. The Trust reserves the right to change your normal area of work to any other location within the Trust.

Referral Processing:Coordinating the flow of referrals from Primary Care processing of all referrals into the service using NHS patient systems, ensuring that all relevant Health & Social Care systems are updated in accordance of that referral.Ensuring referrals are correctly categorised (urgent, routine).

Patient Support: Providing patients with information about the referral process, and other relevant details.

Communication: Communicating with patients, physicians, and other healthcare providers to ensure clear information flow.

Process all referrals received into services, ensuring updates to clinical information systems align with Trust and service guidelines.

Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, including referral information.

Ensure an effective and efficient booking service is provided with service user negotiation in accordance with the targets stated in the NHS Plan.

Ordering and management of the team stationery, assuring stock levels remain appropriate.
