Do you want to work in an Outstanding (Ofsted December 2024) school that is forward thinking and is recognised nationally (by the Teacher Development Trust) for the quality of its professional development opportunities. Would you like to join a team of professionals who believe passionately about making a difference to the lives of our children?
The Governing Body of Hunter’s Bar Junior School are looking to appoint a permanent, full-time classroom teacher from January 2026. For the rest of this academic year the position will be in Y4. The successful candidate will be:
• an excellent teacher who is able to ignite ‘Learning for Life’ with a good understanding of pedagogy and is able to deliver inspiring and motivating lessons.
• someone who has the ability to forge excellent relationships with colleagues, parents and most importantly, our children.
• someone who wants to continue to improve and grow professionally.
We are a three form entry junior school based in the south west of Sheffield and are proud of our diverse student body who come from all over the city making Hunter’s Bar Junior School an exciting and unique place to work.
