We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic professional to join the SHINE Team, part of the All East Sexual Health Service. This role will act as the central coordinator for Newham’s C-Card condom distribution scheme, provide training and support to C-Card providers, and deliver targeted sexual health education for vulnerable young people. The successful candidate will lead on stakeholder training, coordinate outreach clinics and community events, manage referrals, and offer one-to-one support and clinical interventions where required. This is a varied and rewarding post, working closely with partner agencies to promote sexual health and resilience among young people. Excellent organisational skills, safeguarding knowledge, and the ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team are essential.
The post holder will work across London Borough of Newham, providing outreach, education, training and stakeholder support and engagement. The post holder will deliver outreach, pop-up/clinic based clinical services, frontline training and targeted SRE for vulnerable young people.
The post holder will coordinate operational delivery of the Newham Young People’s Condom distribution scheme (C-Card) and will take a key role in young people’s communications, social marketing and stakeholder engagement work, including delivery of local and national campaigns.
The post holder will work collaboratively with integrated sexual health services, providing support and bridging for young people to access mainstream services and will act as first point of contact, offering assessment, advice, support and intervention for young people referred in from external agencies.
