Are you a Quantity Surveyor with experience in Residential civil engineering? We are looking for a skilled professional to join a team, working on dynamic new-build housing projects across the North East

This role is ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You'll be a key player in managing all commercial aspects of our projects, ensuring financial success from the initial bid to the final account.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyse project costings for tenders.

  • Manage project budgets and track costs throughout the construction lifecycle.

  • Negotiate contracts with clients and subcontractors.

  • Identify and mitigate commercial risks.

  • Prepare detailed progress reports and financial forecasts.

  • Value completed work and manage subcontractor payments.

  • Work closely with site teams and management to ensure projects are delivered efficiently.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the civil engineering sector.

  • A degree or HND in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

  • Excellent commercial and financial awareness.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.

  • A methodical, organised approach with a keen eye for detail.

  • Proficiency in relevant costing and management software.
