Summary
Are you a Quantity Surveyor with experience in Residential civil engineering? We are looking for a skilled professional to join a team, working on dynamic new-build housing projects across the North East
This role is ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You'll be a key player in managing all commercial aspects of our projects, ensuring financial success from the initial bid to the final account.
Key Responsibilities:-
Prepare and analyse project costings for tenders.

Manage project budgets and track costs throughout the construction lifecycle.

Negotiate contracts with clients and subcontractors.

Identify and mitigate commercial risks.

Prepare detailed progress reports and financial forecasts.

Value completed work and manage subcontractor payments.

Work closely with site teams and management to ensure projects are delivered efficiently.

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the civil engineering sector.

A degree or HND in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Excellent commercial and financial awareness.

Strong communication and negotiation skills.

A methodical, organised approach with a keen eye for detail.

Proficiency in relevant costing and management software.
