Crynodeb
Roles and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to; Provision and maintenance of a high standard of care for all patients in the Paediatric Emergency Department. Effective communication with medical and nursing staff of other disciplines, ancillary workers, and paramedics in the interest of achieving efficient management of patients. Providing intermediate level supervision for junior trainees. Participation in quality improvement within the service. Facilitating education of designated junior staffing, inclusive of the nursing staff within the department. Assisting the Consultant team in promoting health care to the departments patients in both a friendly and caring way. Having a leading role in resuscitation and trauma calls within the service.
