The Royal London Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Dietitian to join our specialist medicine team.You will be responsible for providing dietetic assessment, treatment and advice to a caseload ofmedical patients, primarily respiratory, cardiology and a small caseload of patients with HIV and other infectious diseases.You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide this service.

You will be joining a friendly, enthusiastic and supportive team of Dietitians who cover a range of specialist clinical areas.

The role will provide a dietetics service for patients under the specialist medicine caseload. You will providing specialist nutrition support to cardiology and respiratory patients in addition to managing a caseload of patients living with HIV and other infectious diseases. You will be responsible for a weekly HIV clinic working closely with the MDT. This will be an exciting opportunity to develop the dietetic service within this speciality. The role will also provide cover to other wards within the specialist medical team such as endocrinology and gastroenterology. There will also be the opportunity to contribute to teaching and training for a variety of staff in the Trust. The ability to be flexible and organised is a key attribute of the successful candidate along with excellent communication skills.

To provide a flexible and effective dietetic service at Band 6 level to patients at The Royal London Hospital. You will be responsible for providing dietetic assessment, treatment and advice to a caseload ofmedical patients, primarily respiratory, cardiology and a small caseload of patients with HIV and other infectious diseases. You will also be responsible for covering a HIV clinic. You willparticipate in continuing professional development and audit on a regular basis to ensure that practice is evidence based.
