A permanent position has become avaliable working two or three days per week, which will require weekend and afternoon working as part of a small team with an immediate start. This will include bank holidays and additional hours may also be required to cover holidays or absences as arranged.
The Diocese is a real living Wage employer offering an hourly wage of £12.60 with Uniform Supplied. Training will be provided as required but experience of retail and or Hospitality/Customer service an Advantage. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively with all members of the community.
Desirable experience; Welsh Speaker, Catholic, First Aid Trained, Local.
Working on Greeting Visitors on admission and charging entrance fees as appropriate. Providing a high quality experience to Pilgrims and visitors on site in all areas of the Shrine, giving information as required about the history and the current religious use in addition to being a renown and historic Welsh Visitor attraction. To work in the Repository shop and have experience with Tills/Card Machines & Stock. To ensure that the premises are kept clean and tidy at all times.
