We are seeking a passionate and motivated PE Teacher to join a supportive secondary school on a maternity cover basis, starting November 2025.

Duties as a PE Teacher:
Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality PE lessons across Key Stages
Promote a positive attitude towards health, fitness, and teamwork
Organise and supervise sports activities, fixtures, and extracurricular clubs
Assess, record, and report on pupil progress and attainment
Ensure lessons are inclusive and cater for a range of abilities
Maintain high standards of behaviour and safety in all activities
Collaborate with colleagues to support whole-school initiatives and sporting events
Ideal PE Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge in Physical Education
Experience teaching PE across Key Stages 3 and 4
Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills as a PE Teacher.
Commitment to fostering student participation and enjoyment in physical activity
