We are seeking a creative and skilled Multimedia Designer & Video Animator to join our growing team in Dumfries & the Scottish Borders. In this role, you will collaborate with our game artists, developers, and marketing team to design stunning visuals, craft engaging motion graphics, and produce captivating video content that enhances both in-game experiences and promotional materials.
Key Responsibilities
Design and animate 2D/3D game assets, user interface (UI) elements, and motion graphics.
Create cinematic trailers, promotional videos, and gameplay teasers.
Collaborate closely with the art and development teams to ensure visual consistency across all assets.
Edit gameplay footage and integrate visual effects, sound, and smooth transitions.
Develop storyboards, animatics, and visual concepts for in-game cutscenes and marketing content.
Optimize animations and videos for multiple platforms — mobile, PC, console, and social media.
Requirements
Degree or Diploma in Multimedia Design, Animation, Graphic Design, or a related field (this is mandatory).
Minimum 2 years of professional experience in video animation, motion graphics, or multimedia design — ideally within the gaming or entertainment industry.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator) and 3D tools such as Blender or Maya.
Strong understanding of animation principles, visual storytelling, composition, and timing.
Hands-on experience with video editing, sound synchronization, and visual effects.
A creative mindset with excellent attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Why Join Us
Be part of an innovative game development team working on cutting-edge projects integrating AI and immersive design.
Opportunity to contribute to the growth of Scotland’s creative tech industry.
Collaborative, inclusive workplace culture that values creativity, learning, and diversity.
