Summary
Role Overview
We are seeking a Multimedia Associate & Tester with strong video editing expertise and a passion for quality assurance. This role focuses on verifying and validating multimedia products, platforms, and applications to ensure functionality, quality, and user satisfaction across multiple devices and formats. You’ll combine creativity with analytical skills, ensuring that video and multimedia content not only looks great but also performs seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities
Test Strategy & Planning
Develop comprehensive test plans, define scope, and create test cases for multimedia-related features.
Manual & Automated Testing
Conduct functional, regression, and usability testing of video content, multimedia interfaces, and integrated systems.
Use automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
Defect Management
Identify, document, and track defects in multimedia content and software.
Collaborate with developers to ensure timely fixes and retesting.
Performance & Quality Analysis
Assess the performance, accessibility, and overall quality of multimedia and video products.
Ensure deliverables meet brand, usability, and user-experience standards.
Collaboration
Partner with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure smooth delivery of multimedia experiences.
Accessibility Audits
Perform accessibility testing (WCAG standards) for web and mobile platforms to ensure compliance.
Video Editing & Multimedia
Support the editing, formatting, and quality review of video content for digital platforms.
Apply motion graphics and multimedia enhancements to test-ready deliverables when needed.
Skills & Qualities
Technical Skills
Proficiency in video editing tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro).
Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks.
Working knowledge of multimedia formats, codecs, and cross-platform compatibility.
Attention to Detail
Meticulous approach to spotting and documenting subtle issues in video and multimedia content.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills
Ability to analyze test results, identify root causes, and propose improvements.
Strong troubleshooting ability for complex or hard-to-reproduce bugs.
Communication
Clear written and verbal communication to report findings and collaborate across teams.
Agile/QA Mindset
Experience working within Agile or Scrum development environments.
Qualifications
Degree in Multimedia, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience in video editing and QA testing for multimedia products.
Portfolio or evidence of past multimedia/video QA work preferred.
