The Granary Day Nursery is looking to recruit level 3 qualified, Early Years Practitioner to join our team.
We offer a competitive pay rate of £12.50 per hour for staff who hold a full and relevant level 3 qualification or above.
If you’re an outstanding practitioner, who can think on their feet and has the necessary skills to inspire and enrich the lives of young children in their early learning, then we want to hear from you.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate their ability to:
· Effectively deliver the EYFS ensuring that the individual needs and interest of children in the setting are met (in conjunction with other team members)
· Keep records of key children’s development and learning journeys and share with parents, carers and other key adults in the child’s life.
· Support other staff and engage in a good staff team.
· Develop and maintain strong partnerships and communication with parents/carers to facilitate day-to-day caring and early learning needs.
· Ensure the provision of a high quality environment to meet the needs of individual children having an awareness of any disabilities, family cultures and medical histories.
The hours are between 7.45am until 6.00pm Monday-Friday (4 days per week with a consistent day off in the week). However, hours may be negotiable for the right applicant.
Please note that the nursery is not on a bus route so own transport is essential for any prospective applicants.
We are committed to safer recruitment so all candidates must have a clear DBS (cost to be met by candidate). In addition, two satisfactory references will need to be provided prior to the commencement of this position.
