We are looking for two dedicated and highly motivated team players to join our busy Adult Social Care Service as an Assertive Outreach Worker focusing on working with change resistant drinkers. This is a brand new and exciting role, and you will play a critical part in shaping our offer whilst working to support people who experience day to day problems due to drinking.
You will have the opportunity to;
• Work in a forward-thinking Council and within teams that have clear, shared values
• Work with a range of social care teams, partners and other key stakeholders, helping to ensure they deliver the best services possible
• Work with individuals in a very practical and person-centred way to understand their goals and ambitions, supporting them to work towards these in order to better manage their drinking and ongoing care needs.
You will:
• Have a level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent), or the commitment to working towards this
• Be able to work assertively and creatively to engage with clients
• Have effective communication skills
• Be a solution focused, problem solver
