Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out diagnostic investigations, advanced fault finding, and technical repairs on high-performance vehicles.
• Undertaking scheduled servicing, mechanical and electrical repairs, and software updates in line with manufacturer standards.
• Completing detailed vehicle health checks and communicating professional recommendations to customers and colleagues.
• Liaising with service advisors and customers to explain complex technical issues clearly.
• Calibrating, testing, and maintaining diagnostic and specialist workshop equipment.
• Ensuring all repair, service, and warranty work complies with health and safety, quality, and manufacturer guidelines.
• Maintaining up-to-date repair logbooks, accurate job cards, and digital service records.
• Conducting road tests and final quality checks to ensure work meets brand excellence standards.
• Supporting apprentices and junior technicians with mentoring, guidance, and knowledge sharing.
• Staying aligned with ongoing manufacturer training, industry innovations, and emerging technologies in vehicle diagnostics and electrification.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Master Technician, Senior Technician, or equivalent level within a dealership or independent prestige workshop.
• Specialist knowledge of Audi, BMW, Porsche, or other comparable German marques.
• Strong background in diagnostics, mechanical and electrical systems, hybrid/electric vehicles, and computerised service technology.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a customer-focused approach.

• Valid UK driving license (HGV license would be advantageous but not essential).

• Ability to adapt and problem-solve in a fast-paced workshop environment.

• Eligible to live and work in the UK, or meet the criteria for UKVI Skilled Worker sponsorship.

What’s Beneficial to Have

• Manufacturer-level accreditation (e.g. Audi Master Technician, BMW ATA, Porsche Technician Certification).

• Experience with performance tuning, advanced coding, and ECU repairs.

• Strong understanding of hybrid systems and electric vehicle technology.

• Previous mentoring or workshop supervisory experience.

What’s On Offer

• Salary: £36,000–£42,000 per annum (depending on experience and designation).

• Hours: 38–40 hours per week, across 5 days.

• Holidays: 28 days paid annual leave (pro rata).
