Description
The CSW - Senior Social Worker - Localities (Gr 8) position is an exciting opportunity for an experienced social worker seeking to make a significant impact in the community through leadership and innovative service delivery. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing various social work initiatives, providing strategic direction, and ensuring that high-quality social services are delivered effectively to the local population. You will work closely with families, individuals, and other professionals to assess needs, develop plans, and facilitate access to resources that promote well-being and resilience. This position requires a solid understanding of social work principles, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for advocating for vulnerable populations. Moreover, as a Senior Social Worker, you will mentor and support a team of social workers and contribute to the development of policies and practices that enhance service delivery. Your role will not only involve hands-on case management but will also encompass a significant amount of planning and coordination with community partners and stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive and integrated approach to social care. Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate social work services within designated localities.
Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients' needs and develop personalized care plans.
Provide expert consultation and guidance to junior social workers and other staff members.
Collaborate with community organizations, agencies, and stakeholders to enhance service delivery.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of social work interventions and programs.
Maintain accurate and confidential case records in accordance with organizational and legal standards.
Participate in training and development initiatives to elevate the skills of the social work team.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
Minimum of five years of experience in social work, with a focus on community-based services.
Current licensure as a social worker in the relevant jurisdiction.
Demonstrated expertise in casework, crisis intervention, and resource management.
Strong knowledge of local community resources and social service systems.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £28.80
