Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Building Control team to ensure effective service delivery.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance building control processes.
Ensure compliance with all relevant building regulations and safety standards.
Oversee the assessment of building plans and applications to ensure adherence to codes and regulations.
Collaborate with stakeholders, including local authorities, developers, and the public, on building safety matters.
Monitor and review performance metrics to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
Provide expert advice and guidance on building regulations and technical issues to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
Significant experience in building control, including a thorough understanding of building regulations.
Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in regulatory compliance.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with a wide range of stakeholders effectively.
Professional qualifications in building control or related fields, such as a degree or chartered status.
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
Commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of industry trends and legislative changes.
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Day: £472.97
