Are you someone who’s full of life, loves to laugh, and isn’t afraid to be a bit silly? Do you enjoy music, playing games, getting out and about, and making the most of each day—whatever the weather? We’re looking for a fun, outgoing, and energetic person with a great sense of humour to bring joy and companionship to a vibrant young woman who loves to have a good time.
But it’s not all fun and games—this is also a role that requires heart. You’ll need to be caring, compassionate, and confident, with the maturity to handle serious situations when needed. Our daughter is a wheelchair user with complex needs. She has epilepsy, a visual impairment, and is doubly incontinent, so this is a female-only position. What she needs most is someone who will support her, keep her safe, and advocate for her while being a reliable and consistent presence in her life.
You’ll be working every Wednesday and Friday from 2:30–6:30 PM, and two Saturdays a month from 11 AM–4 PM. It’s essential that you’re dependable and able to commit to these regular hours. You must also be over 21 and comfortable driving a wheelchair-accessible vehicle. The role can be physically demanding, so a good level of fitness is important.
If you have a big personality, a kind heart, and a commitment to making a difference while having genuine fun along the way—we’d love to hear from you. References will be required.
