Role: Childrens Support Worker
Pay: £19 per hour
Job Type: Part-time or Full-time many weekly hours available
Location: East Sussex and surrounding areas
About the Role:
We are seeking dedicated and experienced Childrens Support Workers to support children and young people, including those with complex needs, SEN, or displaying very challenging behaviours. Youll provide day-to-day care, emotional support, and guidance while helping young people develop independence and positive routines.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality care and emotional support to children and young people.
Support individuals with complex needs, SEN, and challenging behaviours.
Encourage independence, life skills, and positive daily routines.
Build trusting relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.
Work collaboratively with social workers, education staff, and healthcare professionals.
Uphold safeguarding principles and respond appropriately to concerns or incidents.
Maintain accurate records, daily logs, and incident reports in line with policy.
Essential Requirements:
At least one years experience working with children in a care or SEN setting.
Current restraint training (e.g. PMVA, PRICE, Team Teach, or equivalent).
An enhanced adult abd child DBS on the update service
Strong understanding of safeguarding and behaviour management.
Compassion, resilience, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
