Area: West Drayton, Hillingdon

Contract Type: Full-time, Temp to Perm
Salary: £103 - £110 per day (depending on experience)
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm

Brief description:
Support students with SEMH needs in a specialist secondary alternative provision with a focus on English, PSHE, Humanities, Psychology

About the school:
A specialist alternative provision school for students aged 11-16 with social, emotional, and mental health needs. Focused on personalised learning and strong therapeutic support.

About the role:
Support students in and out of class, working closely with teachers and therapists. Help manage behaviour, build trust, and create a safe and engaging learning environment.

We're looking for a dedicated candidate to:
- Provide academic and emotional support to students
- Support teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management
- Build positive, consistent relationships with students
- Maintain a safe and structured learning environment

Requirements -
The ideal candidate would have:
- Experience working with children or young people (in school or youth settings)
- Understanding of SEN/SEMH (desirable)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A calm, patient and resilient attitude
- Team player with a flexible approach
