A well-regarded independent SEN school in Ealing is seeking a dedicated SEN Primary Teacher to join its nurturing and forward-thinking team. Rated "Good" by Ofsted, the school provides high-quality education for pupils aged 6-19 with a range of complex needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges.
What the Role Looks Like
- Lead a class of six primary-aged pupils with ASD and SEMH needs
- Work alongside two experienced teaching assistants who support learning and behaviour
- Deliver a personalised, therapeutic curriculum tailored to individual needs
- Foster a calm, structured, and emotionally supportive environment
- Collaborate closely with a highly supportive Senior Leadership Team
- Use creative strategies to engage pupils and promote progress
- Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Recent experience teaching in UK schools, ideally in SEN settings
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service - Essential
- A strong understanding of SEND and inclusive teaching strategies
- Patience, creativity, and the ability to build trust with pupils and families
