A primary school in Southport is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Qualified Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their vibrant Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team.
About the RoleAs a key member of the EYFS setting, you will:
- Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality early years education.
- Assist in planning and implementing engaging learning activities.
- Foster a safe, stimulating, and caring environment for all children.
- Observe and record children's progress in line with the EYFS framework.
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
- Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external agencies.
RequirementsWe're looking for someone who:
- Holds a recognised Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent.
- Has experience working in a nursery or reception class.
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
- Is patient, proactive, and passionate about early childhood development.
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
