The FDS Project Manager is responsible for leading the implementation and ongoing delivery of the 28-day Faster Diagnosis Standard for urgent suspected cancer patients across Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
Reporting to the Service Manager, the post holder will design, manage, and deliver change initiatives across all tumour sites, ensuring compliance with national CWT standards. Key duties include project planning, data analysis, process mapping, stakeholder engagement, and shared operational oversight of MDT Coordinators and Trackers.
The role requires previous project management experience, excellent organisational and communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously across multiple hospital sites. The Project Manager will collaborate with clinical and non-clinical teams, facilitate improvement workshops, and present progress at Divisional and Trust level meetings.
This is a fixed-term, full-time position demanding specialist knowledge of cancer pathways and NHS operational standards, with a strong focus on driving measurable improvements in patient care and service delivery.
