Crynodeb
The job will be a Band 6 community Learning Disability Physiotherapist or a Band 5 wanting to develop into a B6 role. working across the county of Worcestershire, covering locations such as: Worcester City, Evesham, Malvern, Droitwich, Bromsgrove, Kidderminster, Redditch and Bewdley. All within the speciality of learning disabilities which covers conditions such as: Cerebral palsy, Downs syndrome, dementia, Parkinsons, fragile X syndrome, Williams Syndrome, complex physical disabilities, and learning needs. Job responsibilities include: Managing your own caseload, including complex clients Prioritise waiting lists with the help of the wider Physiotherapy team Dynamically risk assessing throughout treatments Standing and walking frame prescription, set up and assessment Liaison with specialist schools and college for client transitions to adult services Working with care staff and day service managers 24hr posture care prescription Stretching and strengthening programme creation Administering respiratory care Diagnosis and information gathering from minimal patient communication Working alongside Nurse, Speech and Language therapists, Occupational therapists, Clinical Phycologists, GPs and consultants For full detail of the duties and criteria for the role please refer to the job description and person specification attached.
