Class 2 (C) Driver - Blackburn & Surrounding Areas

Ad-hoc Sickness & Holiday Cover | Multi-Drop Deliveries | £14.00 per hour

We are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 Drivers to provide ad-hoc cover for sickness and holiday requirements. The work is based in Blackburn and the surrounding areas and will mainly involve multi-drop deliveries to a range of customers.

This role is ideal for reliable and professional drivers seeking flexible work, with competitive pay and regular support from our transport team.

The Role:
  • Driving a Class 2 rigid vehicle for multi-drop deliveries

  • Ad-hoc shifts only - cover provided as and when required (days/nights may vary depending on client needs)

  • Delivering goods to various locations (usually 8-15 drops per shift)

  • Completing all vehicle checks, paperwork, and maintaining delivery standards

  • Providing excellent customer service at each drop-off point

Pay & Hours:
  • £14.00 per hour (PAYE)

  • Weekly pay

  • Day shifts (typical starts between 05:00-08:00) - occasional nights as required

  • Average shift length 8-10 hours, depending on route and number of drops

Requirements:
  • Valid Class 2 (C) licence

  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

  • At least 6-12 months' Class 2 driving experience (multi-drop preferred)

  • No more than 6 penalty points (no DD/DR/IN endorsements)

  • A reliable, flexible, and professional approach to work

  • Good communication and customer service skills
