We’d love to hear from you if you are passionate about helping make a huge difference in the lives of others. As a growing and ambitious housing provider we are looking for that special Project Worker to be based at our 26-bed supported housing scheme in Peterborough part-time,16 hours a week.
You’ll be a caring, empathetic problem solver with excellent all-round communication skills and belief in your capabilities. Using all of these skills and more, you’ll make a real difference enabling our customers to live independently.
You’ll be knowledgeable around benefits and housing management, computer literate with emphasis on Word and Excel which, along with your strong administration skills will aid our customers ‘Move On’.
You’ll be a mentor and coach to our customers who are from a range of challenging backgrounds including drugs, alcohol and/or mental issues assisting to improve their quality of life.
Your confidence and ability to respond appropriately to issues will assist you addressing anti-social behaviour incidents / concerns, enabling you to respond appropriately minimising impact to others and preventing escalation.
You’ll be non-judgemental, empathetic and proactive in your support of our customers to move into new homes and make better life choices.
Above all, you’ll be a great team player with the flexibility to support your team in ensuring the right staffing levels giving customers access to our support when both wanted and needed. There will be times when a 9am start is essential to support interviews and Sign-Up’s.
