The Role Were looking for a Governance and Quality Manager to lead on clinical governance, risk management, policy development, and quality assurance. This is a vital role that ensures the safe, effective, and compliant operation of the practice. You will be central to: Ensuring we meet Unified Contract standards and other regulatory requirements Coordinating incident reporting, complaints, and significant event audits Developing and reviewing clinical and non-clinical policies Leading quality improvement and patient safety initiatives Supporting the preparation and delivery of inspections and external reviews Role Details Job Title: Governance and Quality Manager Salary: Band 6 (£35,392 £42,618 per annum, dependent on experience) Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week) Contract Type: Permanent following a satisfactory probationary period Location: Morlais Medical Practice, Merthyr Tydfil What We're Looking For You'll need experience in governance, risk management or compliance ideally in health care and a strong working knowledge of NHS frameworks, and clinical audit cycles. You'll be a great communicator, confident working across clinical and administrative teams, and capable of translating complex requirements into practical actions.
