Service/Area Manager - Leadership Opportunity in Liverpool
Location: Liverpool | Salary: £48,000 per annum | Reports to: Regional Manager/Director
Our client, a specialist provider of high-quality care services, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Service/Area Manager to lead their established service in Liverpool, which caters specifically to individuals with brain injuries and complex neurological needs.
This is a key leadership role where you will take overall responsibility for the operational management, development, and continuous improvement of a multidisciplinary team delivering person-centred care tailored to support the unique needs of people living with brain injuries.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing strong, professional leadership and hands-on management support to a diverse team
- Ensuring the service complies fully with all regulatory and legislative standards
- Managing budgets, staffing, and resources to maintain and enhance service quality
- Leading the delivery of business development and service improvement plans
- Building and maintaining effective relationships with commissioners, families, referrers, and other stakeholders
- Promoting a culture of safety, respect, inclusion, and empowerment for both staff and service users
- Overseeing safeguarding, health and safety, and quality assurance processes
- Supporting service users to achieve personal, educational, and vocational goals
- Driving continuous improvement through robust governance and outcome monitoring
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven leadership experience within a regulated health or social care environment
- Strong operational, financial, and people management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and delivering positive outcomes
- Commitment to delivering person-centred care of the highest standard, with an understanding of brain injury rehabilitation and support needs
- Ability to lead change and contribute to business growth initiatives
- Sound knowledge of safeguarding, compliance, and quality frameworks
