Pay Rate: £36 - £40 per hour (dependent on experience)
We are currently recruiting for a Temporary English Lecturer to join a well-established Further Education provider in Redbridge. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated teacher to deliver engaging English lessons and support learners in achieving their academic goals.
You will be responsible for delivering English lessons across a range of levels, including Functional Skills and GCSE. The role involves planning lessons, monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback to ensure learners remain motivated and achieve their targets.
- Deliver high-quality English teaching in line with the curriculum.
- Plan and prepare schemes of work and resources to meet learner needs.
- Track student attendance, progress and achievement accurately.
- Provide constructive feedback to support student development.
- Maintain an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
- A recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
- Relevant subject qualification(s) in English.
- Experience teaching English, including GCSE and/or Functional Skills, in FE or HE.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
