This is a hands-on role where your passion for history and people will shine. You’ll assist visitors, support their research, and ensure every experience is warm, informative, and memorable.
Key responsibilities
Provide a friendly and professional welcome to all visitors.
Assist with enquiries and guide users through archival resources.
Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging environment.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the visitor journey.
About you:
We’re looking for someone who:
Has excellent customer service skills and a proactive attitude.
Is passionate about history and heritage.
Is organised, reliable, and a great team player.
Has experience in a visitor-facing or heritage role (desirable).

You will be given a nominated contractual work base and you will be required to commute to this work base when necessary. Our technology platform and equipment is very good enabling you to connect and collaborate remotely. We require that you have in place good connectivity, and we will discuss during the recruitment process if support with this is needed.
Fluency Duty
