Salary Range: T1-T9 £32,916 - £51,048 per annum Main scale Teacher + TLR2B £5,869 per annum
The Headteacher and Governors of Pikes Lane Primary School are seeking to appoint an experienced, committed class teacher to join our skilled and dedicated teaching team from January 2026.
We are looking for an excellent classroom practitioner who is driven to raising achievement and promoting high expectations of our pupils. This post comes with a TLR for the leadership of English across school.
Successful applicants will be able to:

- Show excitement for our curriculum through innovative teaching and working as part of an effective team
- Model strong classroom practice which leads to excellent results and outcomes
- Demonstrate their commitment to the development of practice through response to coaching and mentoring

In addition, successful applicants will be able to demonstrate:
- Excellent subject knowledge of the Primary English Curriculum and the key conceptual understanding that sits behind the National Curriculum.
- The ability to ensure English is delivered in a highly effective manner across school for all pupils so that they make rapid progress.
- The ability to support staff across school to plan and teach highly effective sequences of lessons that accelerate progress and promote highly positive outcomes for all pupils
