Description
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Natural Infrastructure Officer - Grade E to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in supporting our initiatives to enhance and protect natural infrastructure such as wetlands, forests, and urban greenery. Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategies for natural infrastructure projects that align with organizational goals.
Conduct assessments and monitoring of natural infrastructure sites to analyze ecosystems and biodiversity.
Collaborate with local communities, stakeholders, and governmental bodies to promote and enhance natural infrastructure initiatives.
Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and progress to stakeholders and community members.
Engage in public outreach and education efforts to raise awareness about the importance of natural infrastructure.
Assist in securing funding and grants for projects related to natural infrastructure enhancement and restoration.
Stay informed on best practices and emerging trends in natural infrastructure management and integrate them into project planning.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in environmental science, ecology, sustainability, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of principles related to natural infrastructure, ecosystems, and biodiversity conservation.
Experience in project management, particularly related to environmental or infrastructure projects.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with diverse audiences.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently with minimal supervision.
Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting using relevant software tools.
A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
Hours Per Week: 37.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £15.08
