Working Hours:
This is a full-time role based at our head office. Standard office hours apply, with occasional flexibility required during busy periods. As we are a growing company, there will be ongoing opportunities for professional development and increased responsibility.
Job Description:
We are seeking a confident and capable Office Manager to take charge of our day-to-day administrative and operational tasks. This role will involve working closely with both the warehouse and delivery teams to ensure efficient planning and communication. You will be responsible for ordering stock, overseeing team performance, and making quick, informed decisions to keep everything running smoothly. A high level of initiative is essential – we're looking for someone who thrives on taking ownership and solving problems before they arise.
Key Responsibilities:
*Manage and oversee the daily operations of the office.
*Liaise with the warehouse team to coordinate and plan delivery routes.
*Order and manage stock levels, ensuring supplies are kept up to date and well organised.
*Supervise and support team members, ensuring everyone is working efficiently and effectively.
*Handle incoming queries and communicate clearly across departments.
*Make informed decisions quickly and independently to resolve day-to-day issues.
*Keep accurate records of stock, deliveries, and internal processes.
*Identify opportunities to improve workflows and increase productivity.
*Support management with reporting and planning as needed.
Requirements:
*Proven experience in an office management or operations coordination role.
*Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
*Ability to lead a team and maintain positive working relationships.
*Confidence in making decisions under pressure and using initiative.
*Experience working in a stock-based or logistics environment is advantageous.
*Competent in using standard office software (e.g., Excel, Word, email).
*A proactive, can-do attitude and a flexible approach to work.
