A Vacancy at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Cardio-Respiratory team at Leighton Hospital, where your work will have a direct impact on patient outcomes. You will manage complex acute and chronic cardiac and respiratory patients, helping them recover faster, regain independence, and achieve the best possible quality of life. Your role will also help the hospital reduce length of stay and improve patient flow, making a real difference to the efficiency of the service.

At a time of major transformation — with a new hospital build, the launch of a ward-based respiratory support unit, and the introduction of digital clinical systems — your contribution will shape how services are delivered and improve care across the Trust.

We are looking for Cardio-Respiratory Physiotherapist at Band 7 level who wants to use their expertise to make measurable improvements in patient care and help expand a pioneering service. You will be supported to develop professionally while achieving tangible results for patients and the team.

Key Outcomes and Responsibilities.
• Improve patient recovery and independence through advanced physiotherapy interventions.
• Expedite patient discharge and optimise ward flow, reducing delays and enhancing efficiency.
• Enhance team performance through leadership, mentoring, and supervision of therapists and support workers.
• Drive service development and implement evidence-based practices that improve care quality.
• Contribute to digital transformation, optimising new clinical systems to deliver better patient outcomes.
• Maintain patient safety and reduce clinical risk, ensuring measurable improvements in care standards.

Why Join Us?
• Make a real, measurable difference to patients and the efficiency of the hospital.
• Be part of a dynamic, expert team at an exciting time of service expansion and innovation.
• Develop professionally while leading change and improving clinical outcomes.
• Work in a supportive, inclusive environment that values your contribution and expertise.
