Shunter Driver - £15.28 per hour (Rising to £19.08 after 12 weeks) - Tuesday to Saturday - Ongoing Work Until Christmas
The Best Connection are currently recruiting experienced Shunter Drivers to work with our client based in Team Valley, Gateshead. This role involves trailer swaps, loading/unloading, and general yard duties with ongoing work through the busy festive period.
The Role:- Site shunting and trailer swaps
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Supporting the sortation team during any downtime
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently
- Early morning shifts with consistent weekly hours
- Valid and in-date driving licence (Shunter experience preferred)
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Willingness to assist with warehouse operations as needed
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Tuesday to Saturday
- Shift time: 02:00 - 10:00
- Ongoing work available until Christmas
- £15.28 per hour
- Rising to £19.08 per hour after 12 weeks
- Ongoing work with immediate starts
