We are delighted to be able to offer an opportunity for a highly motivated, ambitious individual to join our well integrated team.
We are seeking an individual trained in the provision of hand surgery with orthopaedic and plastic surgery experience. We anticipate the individual will have skills in working in multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex hand surgery, with a commitment to service development and improving the patient experience.
Clinical:
· Integrate into the multi-disciplinary hand trauma team within the trust
· Develop areas of practice and streamline the surgical journey in acute hand trauma
· Provide an elective hand surgery service for adult patients
· The successful applicant will work within both the plastic and T&0 directorate
· There will be no out of hours on call duties
· There will be a weekly trauma clinic and list within plastic surgery.

• Newcastle Dental Hospital
• Newcastle Fertility Centre
• Northern Centre for Cancer Care, North Cumbria
• Northern Genetics Service
• Cramlington Manor Walks
These include a range of flagship services which deliver cutting-edge care (supported by state-of-the-art diagnostic services in both radiology and pathology) and are a catalyst for innovation to support pioneering clinical practice in the NHS.
We also have offices at Regent Point in Gosforth and community sites.
