Crynodeb
Job Purpose To be responsible for providing inspirational and motivational clinical leadership as a senior staff nurse to a team on the inpatient unit with the aim of delivering a high standard of specialist, patient-centred palliative nursing care. In this role you will work in conjunction with the Ward Manager/Deputy Ward Managers, and the multi-disciplinary team and other Mountbatten teams, providing support to patients and their carers. You will work closely with clinical colleagues to establish and maintain high quality clinical care across all care settings, providing consistent and effective communication with the team throughout your shift and during handover. As a Senior Staff Nurse you will also act as a role model, providing training, supervision and support to staff, volunteers and students and acting as an ambassador with external supporters and other key partners. ***Please refer to the attached Job Description, which includes the Person Specification, for the full duties of this rewarding role with us here at Mountbatten***
