About the Role
Minerva Recruitment is proud to be working with a respected care provider to recruit an experienced Deputy Manager (Nursing) for a purpose-built, high-quality nursing home in Hadleigh, Suffolk.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and compassionate nurse leader to step into a key leadership role. You will assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring that residents receive the highest standards of care and that regulatory compliance is maintained.
You will play a vital part in supporting the Home Manager, overseeing nursing and care staff, managing clinical practices, and leading by example to promote a positive and professional culture.

Responsibilities
• Assist the Home Manager in running the care home efficiently and effectively
• Take full responsibility for the home in the manager’s absence
• Supervise and lead care and nursing staff, providing mentorship and support
• Ensure person-centred care planning and accurate record-keeping
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external healthcare professionals
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and CQC standards
• Participate in recruitment, training, and development of the care team
• Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and compassion throughout the home

✅ What We’re Looking For
• NMC Registered Nurse (active PIN) – Essential
• Previous experience in a Deputy Manager or Senior Nurse role
• Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of care sector regulations
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• A commitment to person-centred care and safeguarding principles
• Ability to lead by example and manage a team with empathy and professionalism
