Education House Leeds is a dedicated tuition centre committed to helping students achieve their academic potential. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Part-Time English Teacher to join our team and deliver high-quality GCSE English Language and Literature instruction.
The ideal candidate is passionate about English, has a strong understanding of the GCSE curriculum, and can inspire confidence in their students.
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging and effective English lessons for GCSE students.
Differentiate instruction to meet the individual learning needs of students.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
Create a positive, supportive, and productive learning environment.
Communicate effectively with students and centre management.
Schedule & Hours:
Days: Saturdays
Hours: 11:00 AM - 4:30 PM (with a 30-minute break)
Note: There is a possibility of additional hours on Sundays as student numbers grow.
Requirements:
Proven experience teaching English at GCSE level.
A strong knowledge of the AQA, Edexcel, and/or OCR GCSE English specifications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A patient, adaptable, and motivational teaching style.
An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
