About the Opportunity:

NRL is excited to be recruiting an experienced Project Manager for a key role with one of our prestigious clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a major, high-profile project within the nuclear sector. You will play an essential role in project delivery, working on impactful work with competitive pay and opportunities for both professional development and long-term career stability.

What You’ll Be Doing:

- Lead the delivery of projects, ensuring successful execution within defined goals, timelines, and budgets, while adhering to safety standards and regulatory compliance.
- Work closely with the client’s Project Portfolio Manager (PPM) to develop and execute project strategies, ensuring alignment with overall project objectives.
- Manage and oversee cross-functional project teams, ensuring the safe and effective delivery of nuclear projects.
- Maintain continuous communication with the client and internal teams, fostering strong relationships and ensuring effective project execution.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards, quality assurance procedures, and project activities.
- Occasionally travel to other UK sites to support project delivery and collaborate with stakeholders.

What You’ll Need:

- A degree in engineering or a related discipline.
- Formal Project Management qualification (e.g., APMP) or equivalent.
- Extensive experience managing projects through all phases, ideally within complex, regulated environments.
- In-depth knowledge of project management techniques and methodologies, including experience with engineering, design, procurement, safety, and construction management.
- Proficiency in project management tools, including scheduling, cost control, risk management, and Earned Value techniques.
- Strong communication and organizational skills to foster relationships and maintain effective networks with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven experience in delivering projects within high safety and regulatory standards.
- Has the ability to gain security clearance.
